Life in the US guide
The guide is public pages and links. A video stays a still image until you press play. That image comes from YouTube’s picture host. After you press play, the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com. PainFix does not receive what you watch. The weekly-note form on those pages is only an interface. Submitting it does not send or store the address, and no email service is connected.
Family Account Check
Transaction files and notes stay in the browser. The tool does not upload them and does not save them automatically. A backup you download is an unencrypted JSON file that you store yourself. Closing the page is not a secure delete, and the browser’s back or session restore can keep the page. Do not enter a banking password or a full account number.
Business Tools
Product copy and sales CSV files are processed in the browser, without an automatic upload or save. A website check requires a PainFix account. It sends the public HTTPS address you confirm to the PainFix server, which reads that public page. The attempt counter is separate from Order Sort and does not store the page text in that counter. The check does not publish, connect a store, or change the site.
Order Sort
Order files are uploaded so the server can pull out the order details and build a kitchen ticket. PainFix does not sell those files, use them for advertising, or use them to train an AI model. This version does not send orders to an AI provider and does not keep a library of orders. Hiding a name on the ticket does not remove it from the file you uploaded. Download the result before you close the page. Guest kitchen choices last for the visit.
When account sign-in is turned on, Google Firebase handles sign-in and email verification. The site stores account, access, and saved kitchen-setup records in a private Firestore database. Essential cookies keep the session and this browser’s free-order allowance. Usage records store keyed fingerprints, not the order text. Saved kitchen settings load when you sign in. Order files and edits to a single ticket are not saved with those settings. Do not put customer details in the saved instructions.
Measurements and private tools
Public pages can send basic usage measurements through Vercel Analytics. The paper-trading path is left out of those events. Paper trading, local demand, the email assistant, and desktop downloads are separate from the public guide. A paper-trading refresh can ask a local helper to upload a read-only snapshot of existing files. Local demand can keep rules in this browser and can ask the server to read a public feed address you supply.
